Dr. Scott M. Tenner was featured in the New York Times Magazine Super Doctors issue in May 23, 2011 for the fourth year in a row. Dr. Tenner serves as Director of the Brooklyn Gastroenterology & Endoscopy Associates, PLLC. Dr. Tenner is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York. He also serves as Director of Medical Education and Research at Maimonides Medical Center.


Super Doctors is a listing of outstanding physicians from more than 30 medical specialties who have attained a high degree of peer recognition or professional achievement.


Surveys were sent out to thousands of medical professionals asking: "If you needed medical care, which doctor would you choose?" Those doctors "most highly regarded by their peers" were chosen to be part of the Super Doctors Issue. Brooklyn Gastroenterology and Endoscopy | NYGI Care


Our new state of the art facility provides a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of gastrointestinal disease. Our staff includes six board-certified gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, a pathologist, ultrasound technician, dietician, and psychotherapist. Adjacent to the facility is our newly constructed, accredited, state and federally licensed ambulatory surgical center where we specialize in an array of procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and hemorrhoid treatment.


Dr. Scott Tenner, medical director of the facility, serves as an associate professor of medicine at the State University of New York and as director of medical education and research at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Tenner serves on the governing board of AAAHC, and both the Health and Public Policy and Practice Management Committees of the ASGE. Dr. Tenner has served on the governing board of the American College of Gastroenterology and now serves on the Educational Affairs Committee and National Affairs Committee for the American College of Gastroenterology. Having published more than 300 papers, abstracts, books, and chapters in gastrointestinal disease, Dr. Tenner speaks at many national and international medical conferences.


Dr. Robin Baradarian serves as an assistant professor of medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and concurrently serves as chief of gastroenterology and director of interventional endoscopy at Beth Israel Medical Center, Kings Highway. Dr. Baradarian also serves as co-director of The Greater New York Endoscopy Surgical Center. Dr. Baradarian has authored numerous research publications and won prestigious awards in medicine. Aside from the management of liver, pancreatic, and gastrointestinal disease, Dr. Baradarian specializes in endoscopy, colonoscopy, advanced endoscopic therapeutic procedures, large colon and gastric polyp resection, and endoscopic ultrasound.


Dr. Susan Ramdhaney serves as director ofthe Women's Gastroenterology Group of New York. This distinct group caters to the needs of women seeking expert advice and care for digestive diseases.


Dr. Nison Badalov, fluent in Russian, joined the practice after developing skills in advanced endoscopy, ERCp, and endoscopic ultrasound.


Dr. Ian Wall's practice philosophy derives from the osteopathic tradition of holistic care, in which, an individual patients gastroenterological disorder is best treated by evaluating it in the context of the body as a whole.

Dr. Caterina Oneto Araya, fluent in Spanish, serves as co-director of the Women's Gastroenterology Group of New York.
