Our new state of the art facility provides a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of gastrointestinal disease. Our staff includes eight board-certified gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, a pathologist, ultrasound technician, dietary consultant, and psychotherapist. Adjacent to the facility is our newly constructed, accredited, state and federally licensed ambulatory surgical center where we specialize in an array of procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and hemorrhoid treatment.
Dr. Scott Tenner, medical director of the facility, serves as an associate professor of medicine at the State University of New York. Dr. Tenner serves on the governing board of AAAHC, and both the Health and Public Policy and Practice Management Committees of the ASGE. Dr. Tenner has served on the governing board of the American College of Gastroenterology and now serves on the National Affairs Committee for the American College of Gastroenterology. Having published more than 300 papers, abstracts, books, and chapters in gastrointestinal disease, Dr. Tenner speaks at many national and international medical conferences as an expert in the field.
Dr. Robin Baradarian serves as an assistant professor of medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and concurrently serves as chief of gastroenterology and director of interventional endoscopy at Beth Israel Medical Center of Brooklyn. Dr. Baradarian also serves as co-director of The Greater New York Endoscopy Surgical Center. Dr. Baradarian has authored numerous research publications and won prestigious awards in medicine. Aside from the management of liver, pancreatic, and gastrointestinal disease, Dr. Baradarian specializes in endoscopy, colonoscopy, advanced endoscopic therapeutic procedures, large colon and gastric polyp resection, and endoscopic ultrasound.
Dr. Nison Badalov, fluent in Russian, joined the practice after developing skills in advanced endoscopy, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound.
Dr. Ian Wall's practice philosophy derives from the osteopathic tradition of holistic care, in which, an individual patients gastroenterological disorder is best treated by evaluating it in the context of the body as a whole.
Dr. Rabin Rahmani serves as director of Medical Education and Research at Maimonides Medical Center and brings to the practice advanced endoscopic skills, including techniques at treating small bowel diseases.
Dr. Jack Braha provides expertise in Advanced Endoscopy, including Endoscopic Ultrasound, and has advanced training in Liver Disease. Dr. Pierre Hindy, fluent in Arabic, has a broad range of skills in general gastroenterology, including the management of GERD, peptic ulcer disease and colonoscopy.
